A Definition

Fine Art is art created and appreciated for its own intrinsic value. All the meaning the work conveys is contained within the scope of the canvas. Thus, fine art is not created specifically to market a product or service, though it may be exploited commercially. That said, some of the artwork presented here was actually created for clients and their projects. A music CD cover, a brochure for an optometrist, postcard for a talent agency, a drawing for blank stationery... And at the end of the day I have this artwork that looks good on its own, so I put it in this section. But all of this stuff is more than five years old. The Permeation of Artwork

Original artwork and illustration forms the basis of most of the projects featured in this site. A web site design, brochure, vehicle decal or trade show booth may prominently feature artwork mapped to its specific purpose. In all cases, the same rigorous standards of execution quality and creative excellence apply.
