DESCRIPTION: KIWI FRUIT

Original artwork created for a package design. The high-resolution original took about a week to render as a three-dimensional model on my long-gone Apple Macintosh 9500, which was the fastest consumer computer at the time.

The concept was for a fictitious package design example to demonstrate Amgraph's flexographic printing capabilities. Eventually the client decided to put raspberries on the package in the example so I did another vesion with raspberries. Personally I always preferred how the kiwi looked. You can see the raspberries in the final rendering at the bottom.
