Learnsoft Partners with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) to Train The County of San Diego
Learnsoft Technology Group has been chosen by CSC as the training partner for The County of San Diego computer rollout. Over the next year, CSC will be installing 14,000 to 18,000 new computer systems throughout The County of San Diego. New software including Outlook 2000 and the MS Office 2000 Suite will be included on each computer system. Every County employee receiving a new computer system will take training on Core Competencies which includes Windows 2000, Word 2000 and Excel 2000 and each employee will also attend an Outlook 2000 class. Learnsoft has customized each of these.
This is the largest computer/software system rollout in the history of San Diego. Learnsoft is proud to have been chosen to provide the training for this rollout and welcomes the opportunity to expand on the already successful 10 year relationship between Learnsoft and The County of San Diego.
Learnsoft Secures Training Contract for The City of Carlsbad
Learnsoft is very pleased to have been chosen as the training partner for The City of Carlsbad, Academy of Technology Training Services.
Carlsbad is a very high growth area, in the northern part of San Diego, and the County is very progressive on growth and attracting technology
companies to the region. The majority of the training, which commences in June 2001, will take place at The City of Carlsbad training center
and most of the classes will be customized to fit the specific requirements of City employees. Other services which Learnsoft will be providing
to The City of Carlsbad include a customized training web site where employees can view the course schedules, review course outlines for class
content and enroll on-line for classes. All enrollments will be managed by Learnsoft.
The contract is for a period of four years, during which time the scope of services being offered by Learnsoft will dramatically increase -
to include specifically many more web-based applications and projects.
Copper Mountain Networks' Global Learning Manager
Learnsoft installs its Global Learning Manager system at Copper Mountain. The system launches, manages, tracks and reports on training for Copper Mountain clients. It has been integrated into their web site, and is launched from within a customer section which not only displays available courses, but also processes the e-commerce transactions when a customer purchases either instructor-led or web based training, or buys training products.
