ABOUT KANOA My name is Kanoa and I was born on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Besides artistic work, my experience has varied from print manager to graphic designer to web developer. I enjoy reading, building aquariums, traveling, motorcycling and making money. PROJECT MANAGEMENT Expediting production from conception through to fulfillment is a normal function ensuring that projects are rendered at optimum quality. PRINT PRODUCTION As a print manager at a press, I have coordinated many print jobs with multiple facilities, resulting in timely, accurate products. Convenient poofs are made for the client, which may include online images, print mock-ups and PDFs. From the approved files, film is made and error-checked. Final film is sent to the press and color proofs or matchprints are delivered to the client for verification. After the prints are made, post-production may include cutting, folding, collating, binding, foil-stamping, die-cutting, etc. WEB & VIDEO My work as a professional web developer has made creation and constant updating of site content—including copy, graphics, and layout—a smooth, seamless process. Proofs are usually made online where interactivity, scripting, animation and general functioning can be tested. Once developed, files are uploaded to the server. Links, CGI and delivery efficiency are all verified. For video, files are recorded to suitable media. PRICING All projects are quoted based on project specifications. Project rates are quoted on the following hourly basis: Layout and Design: $100 Illustration: $125 Video Animation: $125 Programming: $150 The mininum fee for any project is $500. My extensive skills may also be retained on a monthly basis at reduced rates. MEDIA RIGHTS Ownership and publication rights to artwork and media may be negotiated to any extent. Royalty fees also negotiable. PRODUCTION FEES Printing, recording and publishing fees are usually turned over at cost—always highly competitive quotes. Project management fees may apply. TRADE Work agreements based on the trade of goods and services are also negotiable.
